Classes focusing on maintaining and improving bone density. These classes are safe for anyone with osteoporosis, but they are suitable for everyone and not just those with a diagnosis of osteoporosis. The classes will help to improve balance and reduce the risk of falls, to increase awareness of alignment, posture and movements that should be avoided due to the increased risk of fracture. Some small equipment is used in these classes, ie. light hand weights, ankle weights and resistance bands.

Marina qualified as a mat Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates in London. She is also qualified to teach Antenatal and Postnatal Pilates, Pilates for bone health (osteopenia/osteoporosis) and Pilates for breast cancer recovery. Marina is also a certified Back4Good® Practitioner. This training is endorsed by BackCare, the UK charity for healthier backs; by leading medical practitioners and by the independent bodies who oversee quality and standards for the UK health and fitness industry.
Marina also teaches 1:1 sessions.
Based in Cornwall, Marina teaches in-person classes in St Issey, Blackwater and St Agnes. She also teaches a selection of live-streamed classes via Zoom. Please see website for further details.
